Matt is a registered Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, is admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts in Michigan, and specializes in the procurement of intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent procurement. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University, where he also earned a Certificate of Law, Science, and Technology specializing in Intellectual Property Law. Matt was previously employed as a Project Engineer at Goodrich Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona, where he focused on automotive and aerospace technologies, with special emphasis on safety systems. During his time at the University of Michigan, Matt also worked for Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Corp., with emphasis on predictive modeling and safety systems.
